Our Commitment to Legal Compliance
Here we introduce the approach to legal compliance and honest disclosure that REGARO Co., Ltd. values in its purchasing, sales and customer service.
Our Basic Stance on Compliance
Through the sale of Myanmar goods and import/export consultations, REGARO Co., Ltd. places great importance on building relationships of trust with our local community and our business partners. Even as the situation remains unstable, our fundamental principle is to purchase and sell within the bounds of the law, and it is our policy never to force a transaction or to exaggerate in our explanations. When there is something we do not know, we make a point of telling our customers so honestly. In addition, we decline to handle any items or transactions subject to economic sanctions, and explain our reasons for doing so.
What We Do
| Compliance with relevant laws | We purchase and sell in accordance with the laws governing import and export, including customs-related legislation and the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act. | |
|---|---|---|
| Care in product labeling | We strive to convey product characteristics as accurately as possible, including country of origin, materials, and the individual variations inherent in handmade items. | |
| Handling of personal information | Names, contact details and similar information provided through inquiries or in the store are used only to the extent necessary to respond to you. | |
| Honest explanations | We provide information on stock availability and delivery times based on facts we have been able to confirm, and avoid wording that would raise unrealistic expectations. |
Honest Disclosure in Light of the Situation
The situation in Myanmar may continue to change, and purchasing conditions and the timing of stock arrivals may change with it. REGARO Co., Ltd. reports on such matters only to the extent that we have actually been able to confirm them, and we take care not to speak in definitive terms about things we cannot guarantee. When you ask us a question in the store or by telephone, we will answer honestly with the information available to us at that time.
For the latest information on systems and regulations, we also refer to public sources such as the Myanmar information pages of JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) https://www.jetro.go.jp/world/asia/mm/ and other public information when advising you.
